The way out of the situation is often seen as the purchase and installation of a modern gas boiler, characterized by reliability and a high level of efficiency. But as it often happens in practice – in winter, the gas pressure can drop to critical levels. And heating of residential premises, in fact, is not observed.
The way out of this situation is seen in another type of heating equipment, which includes modern bioreactor boilers. These types of boilers received their original name for fuel, which is small pellets – pellets – compressed from waste from forestry production – knots, bark, thin branches, etc.
The efficiency of these systems is simply phenomenal – up to 88%, which comes close to the latest versions of gas and diesel boilers. In this case, an excellent solution is considered to be the use of an additional discharge fan, which is capable of pumping a large amount of air into the combustion chamber of the boiler. And all the ash pellets burn to the end. However, there are also atmospheric bioreactor boilers that do not have injection fans in their design. Their efficiency is lower, which affects the cost of heating equipment.
The combustion chamber itself is produced in two layers. This is necessary in order for water to circulate inside in a constant mode, which is necessary for cooling the walls. Thus, the service life of the boiler is significantly increased. And productivity, because a reflector is installed in the boiler itself, which is able to increase the gorenje temperature of the fuel, which also has a positive effect on productivity.
With the purchase of a bioreactor boiler, the owner no longer needs to manually control the fuel combustion process. It is enough to have an impressive (up to 400 liters) hopper, where pellets are pre-filled. And then the whole process is taken over by automation – it is enough to set the set temperature on the boiler’s w / c display, as all the equipment begins to work in automatic mode – with the help of a double-row screw, fuel enters directly into the boiler’s combustion chamber.
Bioreactor boilers are economical. Boilers of relatively small (up to 10 kW) power are capable of consuming no more than 1-2 kg of pellets per hour, while more powerful systems often used for heating industrial workshops can consume all 30-50 kg/hour of pellets. But the efficiency from such combustion will be the highest, which allows you to pay off the bioreactor boiler in just a few winter seasons.
